4^th International Conference on the Chemistry and Physics of the Transactinide Elements

5 - 11 September 2011, Sochi, Russia

Contributions: The conference will include plenary sessions, which will consist of invited talks and oral contributions. Participants wishing to present their work should submit a 1 page abstract (17 cm x 25.5 cm) of their talk. By the beginning of the Conference a Booklet of Abstracts, consisting of all abstracts submitted to the Organizing Committee by April 20, 2011, will be printed. The Booklet will be distributed to all participants during the conference registration. The abstracts should be completely ready for direct reproduction and submitted by electronic mail to the TAN'11 Organizing committee  (tan2011@jinr.ru).

The oral presentations will be selected among the applications. The accepted contributors will be notified by the end of May 2011. A poster session is also planned.
In addition, we plan to organize a so-called „directors“ session, where leading scientists will speak about their vision on the future of transactinide science.
The conference programme will also include a session dedicated to the 100th anniversary of awarding the Nobel Prize for chemistry to Maria Sklodowska-Curie.

Conference Fee and Payment: The registration fee for participants in the Conference is

It covers participation in the conference sessions, the Booklet of Abstracts, the welcome party, the conference dinner, all coffee breaks and the transportation from the Adler (Sochi) airport to the conference site and back.
The registration fee for accompanying persons, amounting to 250 Euro, includes the transportation from the Adler (Sochi) airport to the conference site and back, the welcome party, the conference dinner, as well as the conference excursion.
On the request and recommendation of a leading scientist, the conference fee for a young participant or postdoc will be reduced and will be 300 €.
The registration fee does not include accommodation.

The registration fee may be payed:

• in cash during the registration,

or

• by bank transfer to the following account:

It is very important that you ask your bank to indicate your name on the transfer and include the necessary bank transfer charges

Accommodation: Please inform the Organizing Committee well beforehand about your lodging. The hotel reservation form must be submitted directly from the conference web-site. If you are sharing a room, please name the person (otherwise the Organizers have to decide this for you).

A number of pre-reserved rooms are offered to participants on a first come basis in the conference venue Hotel “Parus” and in the hotel "Primorskii". Both hotels are situated in the sports complex “Parus”.

Please, note that hotel "Primorskii" is planned for the accommodation only of young scientists and students.

We have been now offered special reduced prices for the participants of TAN'11.
The room rates per participant per day, starting from the evening of September 5^th to the afternoon of September 11^th, 2011 (the arrival and departure days), offered at present are:

N.B. These prices include breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The prices include also the use of the SPA-complex, the swimming pool, the beach, the open sport playgrounds and relevant equipment.
One can use Wi-Fi for which a card can be bought at the reception desk: 100 Rub/2 hours and 400 Rub/day.

• in cash to the Organizing committee at registration in the beginning of the conference,

• by bank transfer to the same account as the Conference fee. On request, an invoice can be sent for the bank transfer payment.

The prices are given in Rubles (at present the exchange rate is 41 Rub/Euro).

In case payments are done directly at the hotel reception desk (either in cash or using electronic cards Visa, Master Card and Electron), the prices offered per person per day (including only breakfast, lunch and dinner) are with 18 % (VAT) higher than the ones given above.
